PAST EXPERIENCE

Some of the unique projects that Aucamp Electronics implemented and are currently maintaining includes but are not limited to:

Bulk Product Supply Networks & The Bulk Gas Supply Industry

In the bulk gas supply industry, there is a distinct requirement for the gathering of customer side data at a central point, so that deliveries can be optimised, running costs reduced and run-outs eliminated.

Aucamp Electronics has supplied a unique turnkey remote monitoring solution to a large international gas supply company, for the monitoring of strategic customer's bulk storage vessels and remote plants. The telemetry system, which has continued to grow steadily, has facilitated the seamless supply of gas to the end user.

The system has proven itself to be reliable, efficient and cost effective through the educated use of Microprocessor, GSM Cellular, Scada and Networking Technologies. This new improved system makes full use of an exception based protocol, alarming, logging and event reporting to produce drastic cost saving results.

Bulk Transport Industry

In the bulk distribution of commodities industry, Aucamp Electronics  have recently supplied a system to monitor remote customer sites for the optimisation of transport running costs and prevention of run-outs. The same system notifies schedulers, customers and managers of alarm conditions by SMS and presents the data to the end user on the transport company's website. The access to this privilaged information and management reports are strictly managed and is provided as a value added service to the end user by the transport company.

Hospital Monitoring of Essential Services
Aucamp Electronics has successfully completed the automation of the monitoring of essential services at a large local hospital. These services include the seamless supply of oxygen, power, water, steam, compressed air, vacuum and chilled air to the main and general operating theatres. The reliability and cost effectiveness of this system once again results in our goal of customer satisfaction.

Quoted from a local magazine:" P.Aucamp Electronics is able to deliver a customised Telemetry solution that brings the most modern of automation benefits to hospitals at a fraction of the cost."

In another project, Aucamp Electronics provided Telemetry and Scada systems for the effective management and control of substation protection relays at a large hospital in Gauteng. This system, consisting of Fibber-Optic networks, as well as Wireless-LAN Sections, once again demonstrates our versatility in providing the customer with a cost effective yet functional solution to their Telemetric needs.
Fibber-Optic Ethernet Substations
Using the network-ready universal relays from GE Power Management on an Ethernet Wide Area Network (WAN), sub-station data and control can now be managed more effectively and efficiently than with traditional telemetry-based systems. Aucamp Electronicshas successfully integrated what is believed to be a world first solution for the automation of sub-stations in Nelspruit. The automation industry is moving away from expensive, proprietary systems towards off-the-shelf affordable new technologies that are the result of a PC Consumer revolution.
Y2k Scada Upgrades: Water and Electrical Telemetry Systems
